Another great LP to add to my collection!
American pianist Robert Pritchard, from North Carolina, plays a programme of Bach and Chopin, as well as his own compositions! - pieces I have long known about but never a chance to hear. Can't wait to spin this on my turntable!
Off the top of my head I can only think of one other black pianist: Anthony Rollé, who recorded some Medtner and all the Strauss-Godowsky (awesome!!!!!). Unfortunately there aren't many black pianists in the recorded medium. Or are there?
